September Reading Vlog 2018

"Of all the delectable islands the Neverland is the snuggest and most compact, not large and sprawly, you know, with tedious distances between one adventure and another, but nicely crammed."

Peter Pan by J.M. Barrie

September was such a good reading month! I don't know how it has taken me this long to get around to reading Peter Pan (I've seen the Disney movie and have been on the ride plenty of times), but it was just delightful and surprisingly snarky. 😂 Another favorite was Mary Stewart's Thronyhold:

"I can hardly remember now what I had imagined Cousin Geillis's home to be like. The reality is always very different from a mental forecast, and inevitably wipes out the false image."

Isn't Geillis a beautiful name? This was a perfect cozy read for fall with just the right amount of suspense and romance to spice it up.

Halloween Walt Disney World Vlogs: October 2017

This fall I finished uploading a new series of Walt Disney World vlogs to my channel! It was fun to relive our trip from *last* fall...

Our flight got in late, but we managed to squeeze in some midnight Earl of Sandwich! The next morning we headed to the Pepper Market for a delicious breakfast and a look at the Coronado Springs construction. It's come a long way since then!

I picked up some new Minnie Mouse Ears in Hollywood (they matched my outfit perfectly 😉). The Force was with us at Launch Bay - we met Kylo Ren, Rey, Chewbacca, and Boba Fett!

Night blossom anyone? We had an awesome Pandora day bookended by a Polynesian sunrise and the torch lighting ceremony. ALOOOO-HA!

Getting ready for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at the Grand Floridian!

One fabulous thing about staying at the Grand is how close you are to the Magic Kingdom - we hopped over to the park for some rides between breakfast and tea at the Royal Palm Club.

How cute is that Mickey Pumpkin popcorn bucket? I'm not sure if they had that same design again this year - it might have been an evil apple cauldron instead. We kept bringing our bucket into the parks with us for the $2 refills!

On our last day we squeezed in some Food & Wine booths and Epcot favorites! 🌐
