Toy Story Land Review!

I have seen TOY STORY LAND, my friends, and it's pretty great...

If you haven't caught the vlog yet, be sure to check it out! I recently got a new camera (the Olympus PEN E-PL*), and I was so excited to try it out - I think the footage came out really well. 😊

What I love most about Toy Story Land is how bright & colorful everything is - the lights overhead, the giant toy boxes, the rides themselves. It is cool how Slinky Dog Dash is right there - it's a fabulous ride when you're on it and a fabulous ride when you're just walking around and get to see the dogs dashing by...

Found a giant colored pencil in the Slinky Dog Dash FP line to take a photo with - perfect considering my colored pencil skirt!

Also had to find some of the new walls! The Popsicle Wall and Checkerboard Wall are opposite each other flanking the exit walkway from Toy Story Mania.

We did think it was a little odd that there are giant figures of Woody and Jessie...but then the Woody and Jessie characters are also right there doing meet and greets. But the figures do add a lot to the theming - and I didn't expect them to talk! Hopefully they'll move the meet and greets inside someday - that would fix the character continuity issue and also add some much-needed AC. Speaking of which...

What I love least about Toy Story Land is how there is really no break from the heat. The only thing that is air conditioned is the Toy Story Mania ride & line - all the new stuff is out in that brutal Florida sun. We didn't end up getting anything at the quick service, Woody's Toy Box, because who wants to eat a hot sandwich when you're already boiling in the hot sun? Considering how long Disney has been in the theme park business, they should have known better, but hopefully they have plans to add some AC in the future.

Have you visited Toy Story Land yet?
