Disney's Grand Californian Hotel: Resort Tour & Craftsman Club!

You all know how much I love the Grand Floridian at Walt Disney World and its amazing Royal Palm Club Level. Well today I'm taking you across the country to the Grand Californian Hotel at Disneyland and its amazing club level!

They even said "Have a Grand Day" when we checked in. 😊

New Anthropologie Style & Homeware Haul!

It's been awhile since I uploaded a style video to my channel, and since I had some excellent luck in the Anthropologie sale section recently both in dresses and homeware, I thought a haul was in order!

Am I the only one who finds it impossible to leave Anthropologie without buying one of those cute colored bowls? 😍 I also threw in a Nordstrom find - a lovely pink and blue dress for Easter!

LEGO Disney Princess Castles

Confession: I love Disney Princess LEGO.

The little princess figures are just charming - and make for perfect mini trip mascots!

The castles the princesses come with are also just gorgeous - I recently posted a video with my favorite palaces. 🏰 I don't think anybody could ever be too old for these sets! They're so detailed and cleverly constructed. Not only are they the perfect way to add some castle vibes to my space, but I also want to collect them because I bet my daughter will want to play with them someday. 😊

Are you a LEGO fan? Tell me your favorite set in the comments!

February 2018 Reading Wrap-Up

A new bookish video just went up on my YouTube channel!

I got through quite a few books in February: some hits and some misses. I read Someone at a Distance by Dorothy Whipple which was different from my typical Brit Lit, but I really loved the writing...

"If we could be seen thinking, we would be shown blown bright one moment dark the next, like embers; subject to every passing word and thought of our own or other people's, mostly other people's."

Another quote I loved from that book was referring to one of the characters reading classics and challenging books: "She deliberately put herself in touch with greatness."

Of course there was also plenty of Tolkien this month! I finished up The Lord of the Rings and The Silmarillion, and I'm starting a re-read of The Hobbit next. I had so many favorite scenes and lines, but here's just one about the mysterious forest of the elves, Lothlorien...

"It strikes me that folk takes their peril with them into Lorien, and finds it there because they're brought it. But perhaps you could call her perilous, because she's so strong in herself."

What books did you enjoy this month? 📚
