New Year's Disney World Trip Vlogs!

Let's be honest: the week between Christmas and New Year's is not the best time to go to Walt Disney World. It's one of the busiest times of year with the parks sometimes closing if they hit capacity!

But if it's the best time a Disney trip can fit in your schedule, you might not be able to help it - and it is pretty exciting to see all the decorations and holiday hype. My family ended up heading down to Disney World at New Year's last month, and we had a stellar time as you can see in the vlogs!

The first day of a Disney World trip is always the most thrilling. ๐Ÿ˜„ We got in late in the afternoon and headed to Corpus Christi in Celebration for Mass - I loved seeing all the Christmas decorations in town! Then dinner at Saratoga Springs and dessert at AristoCrepes at Disney Springs...YUM.

To avoid the New Year's Eve crowd in the parks we headed back to Disney Springs on January 31. We had tickets to try the new Star Wars virtual reality "Secrets of the Empire" experience at The Void! Also had to stop in the Dress Shop...of course. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Our NYE meal was at Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' - I was SO excited to try those Church Lady Deviled Eggs. Delish!

What better way to start 2018 than rope dropping the Magic Kingdom? The weather kept the crowds away, and we had such a fun time!

Buy one get one FREE at the Grand Floridian Gingerbread shop? Don't mind if I do! I'm so glad we got to see the gorgeous gingerbread house and all the beautiful Christmas decorations at the Grand.

We knew the crowds would still be heavy in the parks, so we ran away to the beach for a night! It had been ages since our last trip to Disney's Vero Beach Resort, and I just fell in love with it all over again.

Sometimes even Florida can be chilly in January - we needed coats and hats and gloves for our afternoon at Hollywood Studios!

JAMBO! I had never stayed in a villa at the Animal Kingdom Lodge before - there were so many fabulous Lion King touches in the decor.

Dinner that night was at BOMA. We came out SO full, but as always it was SO worth it!

The next day was still cold and very rainy! But we still had a great time at the Animal Kingdom and an absolutely delicious lunch at Satul'i Canteen in Pandora.

The last night of the trip we spent at the Polynesian Village - it was our first time trying Trader Sam's Grog Grotto!

Whenever the room has a castle view, I don't want to leave it! We spent our last evening and morning just soaking in the pixie dust before it was time to fly home.
