There's a Yack on Your Nose: Tibetan Proverbs at the Animal Kingdom

Pretty soon the brand new "Rivers of Light" water show will be opening up on the lagoon at the Animal Kingdom.  I wish this had opened just a bit sooner so we could have caught it during our trip earlier this month - I can't wait to check it out!

I do have to admit though, there's one thing I'll miss about the construction at the Animal Kingdom...

...the Tibetan proverbs!  The walls blocking off the water where the construction has been happening have been covered with these clever sayings, such as, "Don't notice the flea in someone else's hair when you have a yack on your own nose."  Also...

"There is no way to catch a fish by hand without getting one's feet wet." #wisdom

"A smart jackal is no match against an old tiger." #teamtiger

"With a stout heart a mouse can lift an elephant."  I love it!  Philosophy in the theme parks.

"It's better to live for one day as a tiger than to live for 1000 years as a sheep."

"Like stars in the daytime, like horns on a rabbit."

"The eagle may be flying in the sky, but its shadow falls upon the ground."

The Animal Kingdom has always been a great park for little details and quirky messages (like the signs at Harambe Market!), and I've really enjoyed the Tibetan Proverbs!
