I'm taking you all Christmas tree shopping today...
...and we're doing it in the loveliest way - up in the mountains as the December day is fading and the sky is turning purple - on a tree farm where you can run through rows and rows of firs until you find just the right one. It also just happens to be the perfect backdrop for photos, so why not share some winter style with a Christmas Tree Farm OOTD? :)
Since it was a chilly day, we'll start with the outerwear:
- the boots are my trusty Cambridge UGGs which have appeared in winter style blog posts & videos on here before.
- the hat is a simple grey felt beret that I bought once upon a time in Etretat, France.
- the gloves have kittens on them - I wish I'd gotten a close-up, but you can see them (and the matching scarf which I wasn't wearing) in my ModCloth haul!
The skirt is an H&M find. The length, the color, the shape, the twirl - I love everything about it. It also has pockets, as all skirts ought to have.
The sweater is from Macy's. I had been looking for a Fair Isle design and loved how different this one felt with the bright lime and teal and white against the black. I wore it with a black turtleneck underneath to stay warm.
Random aside: this sweater keeps appearing as an ad when I visit websites which I think is so silly. I already bought it, guys - you don't need to market it to me!
It was the perfect outfit for a Christmassy outing. Have you gotten your tree yet? I hope everybody's having a lovely holiday season!
