Get out your witch hat - today we're going to cast some spells on Main Street...
October in the kingdom - the Magic Kingdom - is one of my favorite things!
Don't you wish you could buy one of the Mickey pumpkin wreaths for your house? When fall arrives, everything on Main Street is dressed up in orange and autumnal glory with leaves, pumpkins, and bunting...
These spiffy, spooky scarecrows greet you as soon as you enter the park.
The Confectionery (scare)girl with the candy apples!
Naturally you need to dress to match! My favorite fashion accessory for the season is that fantabulous Minnie Mouse witch hat. Stripes on top, polka dots on the bows (yes, bows plural. bow in the front. bow in the back), purple gauze, mouse ears. It's just over-the-top enough to be completely perfect. ;)
I first found the hat during last year's October trip, and I had to bring it back for a second time!
Last year's Minnie Mouse Witch DisneyBound featured a black dress, orange belt, and purple striped tights. This year I stuck with orange and black but up-ed the stripes. :)
You can catch a look at the hat (along with some other spooky souvenirs!) in my latest Disney Halloween Haul video as well.
