Coffee with Character and a Strawberry Cupcake

I have two fun things to share today...

Anybody feel like coffee and a cupcake?

We'll start with the cupcake...naturally!  The bakery cases at Walt Disney World Starbucks locations look, for the most part, disappointingly identical to the bakery cases you'll find at any other Starbucks in the world.  Luckily, they do get some pixie dust in the form of cupcakes - the Fountain View at Epcot has one with Mickey ears!

Previously there was also a lovely cappuccino cupcake here, but there was a new pink face in the case on a recent trip!  The strawberry and cream cupcake has vanilla cake with strawberry and vanilla swirled icing and a strawberry jam filling.  Alas, we were on our way out of Epcot that day and about to stop at the Boardwalk Bakery with its heavenly desserts, so I decided to save my appetite.

But I did pick out a different kind of treat!  I had been seeing all sorts of #coffeewithcharacter posts from Disney World on Instagram - Starbucks cast members will write any name you tell them on your cup, the more creative and Disney-inspired the better.  I had to join in on the fun...

Cappuccino for Snow White!  And is that a little hidden mickey on the "i?" I see?

Now I'm tempted to give alter ego names whenever I go to Starbucks.  Can you imagine it?

"Chai Tea Latte for Mrs. Potts."

"Caramel Macchiato for Miss Elizabeth Bennett."

Have you ever had coffee with character?

  1. Can't wait to hear them call out Miss Charlotte LaBouff!

    1. Love it! You'll have to be wearing a big pouffy pink dress when you pick up your coffee. ;)
