As Christmas gets ever closer, I've been gathering up the last holiday gifts on my list! It's always exciting to hunt down the perfect item for each friend or family member, and I thought it'd be fun to share a few of my favorite finds from the shops this season on here. :) Is your shopping done yet?
These animal bottlebrush ornaments from Pottery Barn stole my heart the first time I set eyes on them. A squirrel in a top hat? WIN. Also: they're on sale at the moment!
Because who doesn't like cute socks? Anthropologie has a nicely eclectic selection.
Scarves from Zara
My cousin and I stopped in a Zara shop in NYC this fall, and every other second I seemed to be saying, "Oh my gosh, look at that scarf! And that scarf! And that scarf!" They were so gorgeous and unique and beautifully made - some were so extravagantly huge they're more like shawls than scarves. Love.
Beautifully Disney Nail Polish
The entire line of Beautifully Disney makeup is incredibly tempting, but the brightly-colored bottles of nail polish are always the first thing to catch my eye. They carry some on DisneyStore.com - including this funky, glittery polka dot nail polish! Minnie Mouse would definitely approve.
Fantasyland Trash Can Salt or Pepper Shaker
Once I get started browsing the Disney Store website, I just can't stop. Did you know they sell salt and pepper shakers shaped like Disney Parks TRASH CANS?? I'm not sure how I feel about my seasonings coming out of a waste bin, but I still think they're pretty cute... ;)
Rifle Paper Co. Stationery
I discovered some Rifle Paper Co. notebooks at my Barnes & Noble, and now I'm hooked on these sweet designs. They've got charming calendars, lovely phone cases, and plenty more pretty on their website!
Puffin in Bloom
Anna Bond, the artist behind Rifle Paper Co., recently did new covers for the Puffin in Bloom children's classics series - they've got Anne of Green Gables, Little Women, Heidi, and A Little Princess.
Books are my favorite presents to pick out - it's a fun challenge to match a friend with a new story you just know they'll love. Here are a few favorite titles anybody should enjoy...
British Charm -- Miss Buncle's Book by D.E. Stevenson
Disney Animation Art -- Lovely: Ladies of Animation
For the Jane Austen Fan -- There are some beautiful new hardcover annotated editions out of Jane Austen's classic six novels. Also try another author of the period such as Fanny Burney or Maria Edgeworth or something unique like A Jane Austen Devotional.
For the Poetry Buff -- Everyman's Library Pocket Poet series. So pretty and the perfect size for your purse!
Philosophy from the 100 Acre Woods -- The Tao of Pooh by Benjamin Hoff
Adventure, Romance, Hilarity -- The Princess Bride by William Goldman
If You're Already a Princess Bride Fan: As You Wish: Inconceivable Tales from the Making of the Princess Bride by Cary Elwes - fun to hear behind-the-scenes stories from the film.
Happy Shopping and Happy Holidays!
