EPCOT Holiday Highlights: Italy Pavilion

As we're trimming trees and counting down to the holidays throughout December, we're taking a look at some of  Walt Disney World's best Christmas decorations here on the blog.  Today's destination is the Italy pavilion at EPCOT.  Buon Natale!

Poinsettias hang from the lamp posts (the number of poinsettias Walt Disney World goes through at Christmastime must be staggering!) and the pink front of the Doge's Palace is transformed with holiday cheer...

Look for the little gold cherubs gracing these garlands!

The holiday swag continues inside the shops as well...

Gorgeous garlands hang between the columns in the perfume room.  Pausing to admire the seasonal decorations always makes me slow down and notice details that may be present year-round; I just never noticed them before.  For instance, I love that warm wood beam ceiling!  And these mirrors are so pretty...

Can you tell what's hanging in that evergreen in the harlequin shop?

Venetian masks of course!  I love how the decorations are so perfectly themed to the stores.  Across the way in La Cucina Italiana you'll find...

The shelf above the wine is festooned with purple grapes!

Do you have a favorite country at Epcot for holiday decorations?

  1. I love so many of the Holiday decorations, but I think Italy is my favorite.
