Oreo Bon Bons at the Beach Club

Happy Monday!  How about some oreo bon bon to start out the week?

We spotted this lovely new sweet treat at the Beach Club Marketplace on our recent Disney World trip and couldn't resist!

Ahhhhh...the Beach Club Resort.  Just walking up the path to that fresh blue and white portico makes me feel relaxed and happy. :)

Once I could tear myself away from the gorgeous lobby, we headed down to the Marketplace for a snack...

I still haven't tried the Beach Club's chocolate peanut butter cupcake, but it's on my list.  Doesn't it look beautiful?  They also had a Frozen-themed vanilla cupcake and a variety of other sweets you can see in the vlog...

...but the Oreo Bon Bons were the main thing that caught our attention.

It was $5.99 for a box of six.  We have seen these little beauties up in the Beach Club's club level lounge, the Stone Harbor Club, during the dessert service, so it was SUPER exciting to see them for sale in the counter service restaurant!

The inside is light and creamy and full of oreo deliciousness.  Mama Snob thought it was very similar to the filling of the Oreo Bon Bon Cupcake over at the Boardwalk Bakery (which is also scrumptious!).  The outside is dusted with cocoa and topped with chocolate icing and a white chocolate swirl.  They're the perfect size, and it's nice there are enough in the box to share...if you're feeling generous. ;)

  1. Thanks for sharing! I saw them during your vlog, and thought "Wow, that's a deal of price! And a steal in WDW!" ;) Good to know they are delicious as well.

  2. Thank you so much for this post! I love, love, love the Oreo Bon Bons sold at Cape May Cafe. They went away for awhile, but now they are [blessedly] back, albeit only three days a week. There is a recipe circulating as to how to make these divine delicacies, but I noticed an ingredient is always missing: the dark chocolate powder on the outside. Thanks to your post, I now know that it is, in fact, dark chocolate powder and I am ready to try and make the Cape May Cafe Oreo Bon Bons for myself! Thank you soooo much, Emma!
