Disney Dessert News + Weekly Links

Happy weekend, all!  My weekly Internet pixie dust is going to be very sugar-coated, but I can't help it.  I've come across so many fun Disney food posts this week...

1.  Guys.  There is now a DESSERT PARTY at Epcot!  I absolutely love the Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party at the Magic Kingdom, so I was SO excited to hear this.  DisneyLifestylers has some photos and thoughts.  To be honest, it looks like the MK party has a better selection (although the Epcot version does have sparkling wine), and the bad news: the party is $50 a person.  And I thought $20-$30 at the MK was expensive!

2.  Also new in Disney World dessert news via the Disney Food Blog is that the Tambu Lounge at the Polynesian now serves that amazing bread pudding that you can get at OHANA.  Probably the Tambu Lounge is going to be super busy from now on. ;)

3.  Plus the Magic has a St. Patrick's Day review of Raglan Road restaurant at Downtown Disney.  I've only been here once - the menu always looks kinda pricey - but that vegetable tart makes me want to try Raglan Road again.  Looks delish!

4.  I've only been doing rides with my first forays into Fastpass+, but Rolling with the Magic has an interesting post about using Fastpass+ for parade and fireworks viewing.  With only three Fastpass+ for the whole day, I'm not sure I'd be able to spare one for parade/fireworks...but that is pretty prime viewing, especially for the parade!

5. There's another new Disney Vera Bradley pattern on its way: Mickey's Perfect Petals.  From the photos on the Disney Parks Blog, it looks just like Vera Bradley's new summer pattern, Flower Shower, only with some hidden mickey's sprinkled in!  And there's going to be a special brunch at Epcot to celebrate the launch.

Catch up on this week's pixie dust...
