I've got some Wishes love to add a little sparkle to your weekend!
Today we're going to take a look at perhaps the most classic Magic Kingdom fireworks location...
I LOVE watching Wishes from the Hub. The castle is right there in front of you, the fireworks all perfectly framing it - all that pixie dust completely filling your field of vision.
I see TINKERBELL!
Really the only thing you have to worry about when you're watching from the Hub is that if you're too close to the castle, some of the bursts will be blocked by the castle - so it can actually be better to be just a little further back, towards Main Street.
Another thing to love about the Hub is that it isn't too too important to get there early. It's such a big area that there's almost always space to slip in. The flip side is that if you do stake out a spot early, you might end up having people come at the last minute to stand in front of you. Luckily most of the show is UP, so it doesn't matter too much.
Wishes is a popular show, and the Hub is one of the most popular spots to watch it - so there are going to be crowds. I usually try to have a plan for where to move when the show ends - if I'm staying in the park, I'll try to be at a part of the Hub where it won't be hard to slip off into Tomorrowland or Frontierland. If I'm leaving, I'll try to hang back closer to Main Street and be ready to dash off into the shops (it's almost always faster cutting through the shops than staying on the street).
Of course, we don't have to be commando about it. You could just hang tight and listen to the post-Wishes melodies and admire the castle after the show, but with everyone moving around it can be a bit stressful.
During the show, however, there are no worries. You're just caught up in the magic of Wishes.
